Vegan, handcrafted donuts are a best-seller here, as are the cakes, all made with organic non-dairy milk and unbleached flour. Since 2014, Bloomer’s has expanded, with locations on Bloor, Queen West, and in Bayview Village.

This popular bakeshop carries a mix of vegan and dairy-free, gluten-free options. The bistro outpost on Dundas West is equally delicious, but their Harbord bakery is where to find their extended list of cupcakes. 

Touting itself as Toronto’s first vegan cafe, this beloved shop in the Beaches offers an assortment of quintessential baked goods, sans dairy or sugar. The Canary District store is no more, but the original is still stocked on cinnamon buns, butter tarts, cookies, and banana bread.

For more than 30 years, this Annex staple has been serving up healthy vegan and gluten-free eats. Owner Quang Dieu has just ventured into Keto products too, meaning you can munch on danishes and cakes, no matter what your allergy or special needs are.

What started as a small project out of a cabin in Northern Ontario has become a Dundas West go-to for low-carb, Ketogenic, and Paleo baked goods. Everything from the cake pops to mini donuts are made without cane sugar and gluten-free. 

This Parkdale bakery from the folks behind Vegandale is a joint venture with Thornhill’s Vegan Danish Bakery. They offer slices of cheesecake, minus the cream cheese, and flaky danishes with loads of vegan butter.

Not only is this Bloorcourt bakeshop vegan, it goes the extra mile by being completely free of wheat, nuts, soy, and corn as well. The menu here includes sourdough waffles, packs of muffins, vegan chocolate cakes and sourdough bread.
