• Cambodian restaurant Tuk Tuk Canteen has opened at 397 Roncesvalles in the former Rude Boy space.
• Harbour Eats by Mercatino, a food hall originating from Calgary, is now open at 1 York St. (at Harbour St.)
• Pi Co has opened its third location, this one at 170 University Ave. (at Adelaide).
• Ozzy's Burgers has taken over the space that was formerly Grilled Cheese at 66 1/2 Nassau St. in Kensington Market.
• Schnitzel Hub has replaced Za Pizzeria at 402 Bloor St. W. in the Annex.
• Defina Woodfired, the second location for Pizzeria Defina, is now open at 1486 Dupont St. in the Junction Triangle.
• Spice Indian Bistro has opened at 320 Richmond St. E. (at Sherbourne St.)
• Butter Chick, a fast-casual Indian kitchen has made its debut inside the renovated Yonge Sheppard Centre's food court at 4841 Yonge St.
• Chef of India has opened at 3187 Yonge St. (north of Lawrence).

• Core Restaurant should be opening in March at 896 Queen St. E. (at Logan) in Leslieville.
• Drake and OVO's Pick 6ix has hosted two exclusive parties this week as we await confirmation of a public opening date.
• Ristorante Rosina, an Italian restaurant from the same team/family behind Trattoria Taverniti in Little Italy, will soon be opening at 740 King St. W. (by Tecumseth).
• High 5 Cafe, a cafe and restaurant focused on healthy, ready-to-eat food from The Fifth Inc. (Cabin Five, Fifth Grill, The Fifth Social Club, The Fifth Pubhouse) will be opening soon in the same complex at Richmond & Duncan.
• H2 Kitchen, a poke/salad/noodle/smoothie bowl spot, is set to open soon at 204 Queen St. W. (at St. Patrick St.)
• Cafe Serano, a new cafe from Serano Bakery, will be opening this spring at Pape & Gamble in East York.

Closed

• Oro closed last month on Elm St. after its owner retired.
• After seven years, MerryBerry Cafe on Parliament St. is no more.
• Agra Fine Indian in North York has shuttered.
• As has Braised in Leslieville.
• The Kennedy Public House in Bloor West Village has closed permanently after a noticeable decline in food quality and service.
• French-patisserie-in-a-shipping-container Petit Nuage closed permanently last month.

Other news

• Pulp Kitchen will be moving to 689 Queen St. E. in late January or early February.
