Toronto hotel just ranked the best in all of Canada for 2026

A Toronto hotel was just named the best in Canada, outshining hundreds of other luxury properties across the country.

U.S. News & World Report officially unveiled its 16th annual rating of the Best Hotels worldwide, which highlights more than 31,000 hotels across more than 400 destinations.

Maintaining its #1 spot on the Best Hotels in Canada list this year is the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto, which was highlighted for its elegant decor, spa offerings, and modern amenities like an in-room iPad to access the hotel's services.

"Despite the abundance of nearby restaurants, guests suggest enjoying a meal on premises; both Café Boulud and d|bar lounge offer French-inspired menus from Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud," the publication writes.

"Serenity-seekers rave about the spacious, sleek setting in the spa, which comes outfitted with an indoor pool, a steam room, a salon and a long list of treatment options."

To rank hotels, the publication computes a score based on the number of awards and recommendations a hotel has received from travel industry sources, the hotel's class rating, and guest rating.

Two Toronto hotels managed to secure spots on this year's top five in Canada list, which included:

  1. Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
  2. Fairmont Pacific Rim — Vancouver, B.C.
  3. Four Seasons Resort Whistler
  4. The Hazelton Hotel — Toronto
  5. Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

Other hotels in Toronto were also mentioned in the top 100 best in Canada list, including:
