An ultra low-cost American airline will be launching flights out of Toronto soon

If you're eager to travel on a tight budget, you'll be pleased to hear that Toronto passengers will have more options when it comes to affordable flights very soon.

American ultra low-cost passenger airline, Sun Country Airlines, recently announced that it will be launching a new non-stop flight service to Toronto Pearson International Airport in June 2024.

The budget-friendly airline will be expanding its flight network from its base at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) through Sept. 10, 2024, with plans to operate the Toronto route twice weekly.

In addition to Toronto, the network extension includes a nonstop route from MSP to Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, as well as several domestic locations, including New Mexico, Washington D.C., Oakland, and Syracuse.

Similar to other airlines, the carrier will offer full-size tray tables, recline, and in-seat power in most seats. Onboard, the airline will also provide free in-flight entertainment to passenger devices and complimentary beverages.

With its recent expansion to Toronto, Sun Country Airlines will operate 120 routes serving 104 airports across the U.S., Mexico, Central America, Canada, and the Caribbean.
