Toronto Blue Jays players go on Tim Hortons coffee run in full gear

The Toronto Blue Jays seem to have zero issues when it comes to embracing Canadian culture.

Just over a month after a pair of rookies in Kazuma Okamoto and Trey Yesavage were tasked with grabbing coffees for the team while on a road trip in Chicago, this time it was Louis Varland and Myles Straw's turn to supply the team's caffeination needs. 

The duo, who were rocking their game-day attire, warned the Tim Hortons employees that they had a big order on their hands. They weren't lying, as they went on to order eight large double-doubles, five large three sugars one cream, four large black coffees, three large dark roast coffees, one vanilla latte, three large ice cappuccinos, one large frozen lemonade, and two peach poppin' frozen quenchers.

And that was just the drink order.

After that lengthy drink order from Varland, Straw was tasked with grabbing food. That included three croissants, five muffins, ten cookies, one turkey bacon club sandwich, one chilli, two lemon blueberry tarts, two dozen donuts, and 50 timbits.

"I think we got plenty of everything," Straw finished with a grin.

Before heading back, the two interacted with some Blue Jays fans before sitting down to enjoy some timbits. 

"Can we eat the whole box right now?" Varland asked the camera crew.

Louis and Kilometres have always felt Canadian.

At the very least, it seems the Blue Jays are maintaining good spirits despite what has been a very disappointing season. They sit dead last in the AL East and five games back of a wild-card position with a 49-58 record.

Given their struggles, they are expected to be sellers heading into Monday's trade deadline. Several names, including Kevin Gausman, Shane Bieber, Jeff Hoffman, Max Scherzer, George Springer, Daulton Varsho, and Straw, have all been listed as potential candidates to be dealt to playoff-bound teams.
