Although the Toronto Blue Jays season is over, one of the team's star players appears to have stuck around in the city during the offseason.
Over the weekend, Blue Jays third baseman Kazuma Okamoto was spotted once again at Mapo Korean BBQ, a popular Korean restaurant in Bloor West.
The 30-year-old has become somewhat of a frequent diner at Mapo during his first full year in Toronto, so it's clear the food is Kaz-approved.
The Blue Jays slugger, who led the team with 33 home runs during the 2026 season, was first spotted at the restaurant in March and has eaten there at least two times since.
"Kazuma Okamoto of the Toronto Blue Jays stopped by our first location again! Always great to have you at Mapo," the restaurant posted on Instagram on Saturday.
"Blue Jays players stop by Mapo Sanghoe quite often, and we're always grateful to serve amazing athletes."
Okamoto isn't the only Blue Jays player who's developed a taste for this spot; pitcher Cody Ponce, outfielder Addison Barger, and now-former Blue Jay Kevin Gausman all stopped by the restaurant at 708 Bloor St. W this past season.
In fact, so many players have visited the restaurant that there's a wall dedicated to Blue Jays memorabilia, with autographs, photos and signed baseballs from current and former players.

blogTO readers are also fans, having voted the Koreatown staple among the best Korean BBQ restaurants in the city.
The restaurant has become so popular that it's expanded to a second location at 499 Church St., just south of the Church-Wellesley intersection this past June.
