If you were at the Katy Perry concert in Montreal on Wednesday, there's a chance you heard former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Roar among the crowd.
Several photos and videos of Trudeau, 53, showed him dancing and singing along to the pop star's hit songs at her The Lifetimes Tour. He had a fantastic view of Perry, 40, who was suspended in the air on top of a fluttering butterfly.
This sighting comes days after the unlikely pair were seen having a dinner date at celebrity chef Danny Smiles' restaurant, Le Plateau's Le Violon. The video of the two engaged in conversation at the Montreal hotspot on Monday was shared by TMZ the following morning.
It turns out Trudeau and Perry also had a full itinerary that evening, including a jaunt through Mount Royal Park just before they dug into their delicious meal.
New photos that have surfaced show the singer holding her dog while walking with Tudeau, who TMZ said looked to be "all smiles" as he dropped the duo off at their hotel. Allegedly, the two kept it platonic, with no visible PDA — something Chef Smiles bolstered based on what he saw of their dinner date.
Trudeau and Perry were also seen grabbing drinks on the patio of local bar Taverne Atlantic, with the former politician's "arm practically welded to Katy's waist" upon exiting, bystanders said.
And now, his attendance at her concert.
Both Trudeau and Perry have recently undergone public splits with their respective partners: Trudeau having separated from ex-wife Sophie Gregoire Trudeau in 2023, and Perry, confirming the end of her relationship with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom earlier in July.
