First show of Toronto's Rogers Stadium concert season scrapped at last minute

Bruno Mars' Toronto concert at Rogers Stadium was scrapped just hours before the show on Saturday amid a GTA-wide rainfall warning.

Rogers Stadium announced just after 1:30 p.m. that the show would be rescheduled due to rainfall, marking a rough start for the new venue's summer concert season for the second year in a row.

The venue shared on social media that "Due to inclement weather, tonight's Bruno Mars show in Toronto at Rogers Stadium has been rescheduled to May 31, 2026," adding that "The safety of our guests, artists, crew and staff remains our top priority."

Rogers Stadium states that "All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new date."

The announcement comes just hours before Bruno Mars was set to take the stage for the first in a five-show run at Rogers Stadium, which Live Nation had previously stated would go forward "rain or shine."
