BTS star RM went full tourist mode in Ontario's Niagara Falls

Ontario seems to be celebrity central this summer, with star sightings becoming commonplace across the province, and a BTS star taking in a world-famous tourist destination has just joined the growing list.

The South Korean boy band brought its ARIRANG Tour to Toronto's Rogers Stadium in August, with the venue packed with fans despite heavy rains. The performers put on what seemed like an unforgettable show, with the downpour only adding to the on-stage spectacle.

And that deluge of rain apparently wasn't enough for one BTS star.

BTS leader Kim Nam-joon, popularly known by his stage name RM, was later spotted at Niagara Falls during the group's Canadian stop. Fans recorded their encounters with the singing sensation and took to social media to share his appearance at one of Ontario's most popular tourist attractions.

RM, who also posted his Niagara Falls escapades on his own Instagram account, was seen aboard a Niagara City Cruises boat tour, wearing a beige rain poncho over his casual outfit as he took in the iconic views.

RM taking in one of Canada's biggest natural attractions feels like a fitting addition to BTS's Toronto visit. Between performing for thousands of fans and checking out the Falls, it seems Namjoon needed to get a bit of sightseeing in his Canadian itinerary, too.
