The Backstreet Boys are bringing their nostalgic set of '90s hits back to Toronto for a four-concert residency, and it will be the only North American stadium stop on the iconic boy band's current tour.
The 'Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada' residency at the Rogers Centre will see Nick, Brian, AJ, Kevin, and Howie perform shows on February 12, 13, 19 and 20, 2027.
Fans of the '90s icons will enjoy classic hits (as a '90s kid, I feel profoundly old describing these as 'classics') from the band's Millennium album, like "I Want It That Way" and "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," while organizers also promise lesser-known songs that die-hard fans will appreciate, like "It's Gotta Be You" and "The Perfect Fan."
It will be the band's first performance in Toronto since 2022, when they performed two consecutive nights at the then-named Budweiser Stage for the DNA World Tour.
Canada was an early adopter of the Backstreet Boys and helped the group achieve pop culture sensation status, and the five members of the group have not forgotten the fans that helped cement their position as '90s music legends.
"Canada was one of the first places to embrace us, and the love and support we've received from our fans there has meant so much from the very beginning," said singer Brian Littrell. "Coming back feels incredibly special. It is a chance for all of us to celebrate the memories we've made together and create some new ones."
Live Nation Canada and Rogers describe the set as a "once-in-a-lifetime experience" and are excited to bring the band back to Canada.
"For more than three decades, the Backstreet Boys have built a passionate fan base and sold-out arenas around the world, and we're excited to create unforgettable opportunities for fans and our customers," said Terrie Tweddle, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Rogers.
Erik Hoffman, Live Nation Canada's President of Music, notes how "Few artists have a connection with Canadian fans as enduring and meaningful as the Backstreet Boys," and says the company is "thrilled to welcome them back to Toronto for this special Homecoming series and celebrate a bond that has spanned generations."
Ticket presales launch exclusively for Rogers customers on Oct. 5, while public sales will begin on Oct. 9.
