If you're not paying attention while cruising around downtown Toronto this week, you may just look up to find yourself in Boston, Washington, San Francisco or New York City, as various film projects set in these American locales are currently underway in the downtown core.
Toronto is well-known for its ability to seamlessly pass as other major metropolises, which, along with often being cheaper to film in than its U.S. counterparts, has helped shape the city's reputation as Hollywood North.
Given that we were also recently crowned the best place in the world for those looking to make a career in the biz due to our gigantic and ever-growing film sector, it's no wonder that so many productions choose to shoot here, with countless movies and TV series on the go at any given time.
Over the last few days, residents have spotted pockets of the city completely transformed to masquerade as various locations for big-name titles.
Automobiles, mailboxes, and other props have York Street looking like 1970s-era San Fran for the feature film Radical, while Brockton Village — specifically, Sterling Road — has been outfitted with maps and signage to disguise it as Washington, D.C. for the Amazon Prime thriller series The Terminal List (starring Chris Pratt).

Meanwhile, some buildings in the financial district around University Avenue and Elm Street have been rebranded as sites like The Boston Globe offices, which fans speculate is likely for The Testaments (starring names like Ann Dowd) the sequel series to The Handmaid's Tale, which was known to film all across the GTA.
Passersby may also notice NYPD cop cars and other set pieces around Bloor Street (specifically at the Windsor Arms Hotel) and in Mississauga (at U of T's satellite campus there) for Netflix's latest TV adaptation of a Harlan Coben title, I Will Find You, which features Severance actor Britt Lower and Milo Ventimiglia from This Is Us.

The X account for Toronto Filming, known for sharing details about what flicks are being taped in and around the city, has also posted that a new season of Interview With The Vampire is filming at the Ruthven Park National Historic Site in nearby Cayuga, Ontario this week, among all of the other projects going on.
The City of Toronto also maintains a list of productions currently ongoing for those who want to keep an eye out for their favourite celebs and sets.
