Theo James called this Toronto neighbourhood 'sexy' and 'very hipster'

Our favourite brooding Brit, Theo James, is back waxing poetic about Toronto, leaving us with just one question: when do we finally hand him the keys to the city?

Two weeks after the famed White Lotus actor was spotted by fans shopping at the underwhelming Dufferin Mall, James stood on business and defended the highly polarizing shopping centre.

"It's one of the most amazing places I've ever been to in my life," James said at a surprise screening of his World War II drama Fuze at Scotiabank Theatre this weekend. "It was like paradise."

Can someone please check in on Eaton Centre and make sure it's not crying in a fetal position out of sheer jealousy?

The booked-and-busy 41-year-old, who has two small children with wife Ruth Kearney, explained that he was at the mall's Walmart to shop for a new crib for his son.

@erin22xoxo Theo James tells us what his favourite Toronto neighbourhood is 👀 I just had a feeling he was an Ossington girlie 😌🫶🏻 Thank you @vvsfilms for having me tn, FUZE was such an action packed movie!! #theojames #torontolife #theojamesedit ♬ original sound - Erin Chau | Toronto Lifestyle

The whole family must be in town while the actor currently films a mafia movie with Vince Vaughan, titled The Bookie and the Bruiser.

Fans have already begun spotting James hard at work in downtown Toronto.

Aside from red carpet appearances at TIFF, James hasn't really been spending time in Toronto since shooting the thriller Backstabbing for Beginners way back in 2016.

Like a lot of A-listers who end up in Hollywood North, whether for business or pleasure, James has had his fair share of strolls along the Ossington strip, along with jaunts throughout another trendy neighbourhood.

"Very cool, very hipster, very sexy!" he said of the Trinity Bellwoods within the West Queen West neighbourhood. "Good summer hangout." He even gave a nice review of Toronto's waterfront despite the weather being "sh*t" when he was trying to enjoy some fresh air.

With production for his new mafia movie expected to run until the end of May, your chances of bumping into the popular movie star aren't outside the realm of possibility. Make sure your phone is fully charged if you plan to go star-gazing.
