Lindsay Lohan is in Toronto filming a new rom-com for Netflix, and you just might see the Mean Girls star appearing around town over the next month.
Lohan is currently filming a new romantic comedy for Netflix called Return to You, which will transport the now-40-year-old actress back to the era of her career prime in the 2000s.
Starring opposite Henry Golding (of Crazy Rich Asians fame), Lohan will play a lonely lawyer who receives a DVD in the mail (the film is set in 2008, ah, physical media) created by a terminally ill woman for her husband, and sets out to track down the intended recipient.

No release date has been shared for the new rom-com, though Netflix expects a 2027 premiere.
Lohan was a top-billing name in the mid-2000s, though her career took a turn amid high-profile struggles toward the end of the decade. Lohan's resurgence in recent years has included roles in 2024's Mean Girls remake (Lohan starred in the original 2004 version), and reprised her Freaky Friday (2003) starring role in the 2025 sequel, Freakier Friday.
