Honest Ed's Closed (According to Stussy)

International streetwear brand Stussy has been selling merch on Richmond Street for a year now. To celebrate the milestone they've created

two commemorative t-shirts with designs that pay homage to, in their words, "the landmark schemes of music retailer Sam The Record Man and Honest Ed's, both of which are now defunct".
Come again? We know Stussy knows LA better than the Tdot, but someone (and I guess that's me) needs to give them a bit of a local history lesson that just because Honest Ed himself passed away in 2007, doesn't mean the iconic retailer has ceased operations.

Update: Oops. I goofed. Looks like the source of the error wasn't Stussy but in fact a writer at Hypebeast. Thanks to Miro for the correction.
