Aroma Espresso Bar nailed with 12 infractions from Toronto health officials

An Aroma Espresso Bar in Toronto caught the attention of DineSafe police this week and received a long list of infractions including three crucial ones.

The coffee chain's location at 3343 Yonge St. near Lawrence failed to impress on a number of fronts. Some of the crucial infractions included handling ice in an unsanitary manner, and storing and refrigerating foods at improper temperatures.

A full list of infractions are detailed below and on the DineSafe site.

A list of DineSafe infractions at 3343 Yonge St.

Aroma Espresso Bar is not new to the DineSafe hit list. Like many chains in the city, its locations have been cited for infractions previously including the same location on Yonge St. and one on Bay St. to name just two of the instances.

Although the Aroma Espresso Bar received 12 infractions, health inspectors allowed it to remain open. The cafe will be reinspected once they have a chance to correct the issues.
