Toronto residents want to bring these lost businesses back from the dead

Toronto business closures have rocked the shopping and dining landscape in recent years, and conditions aren't likely to improve any time soon amid a period of high overheads and economic uncertainty.

If given the chance to reverse time and fortunes, many locals have at least one or two lost businesses they'd love to see resurrected. 

And while much of what has been lost will remain gone and buried, we hit the streets and asked locals to wax nostalgic about which departed businesses they'd like to see return to the city.

Some of the shuttered businesses mentioned include Superpoint, World's Biggest Bookstore, Honest Ed's, Bi Bim Bap, Milagro, Lee Garden, and La Piscina.
