worst roads toronto 2026

These Toronto roads were just named the worst in the city for 2026

The worst roads in Toronto will do a number on your car's suspension, and a newly-released list is a good place to start if you're trying to avoid a bumpy uncomfortable ride.

The CAA's list of the province's worst roads for 2026 dropped on Thursday, and Toronto took a whopping four of the top ten spots on the list. In addition to its provincial top-ten, the CAA releases regional lists that shine a light on the brutal road conditions in cities and regions around Ontario.

In Toronto, the five worst streets included major suburban arterials, a busy thoroughfare extending from downtown into the outer GTA, and perhaps the city's most perpetually-cursed street.

Here are the five worst streets in Toronto:

  1. Steeles Avenue East
  2. Sheppard Avenue West
  3. Bathurst Street
  4. Unwin Avenue
  5. Eglinton Avenue West
