Toronto Raptors star Scottie Barnes is back in the viral spotlight, and the internet can't get enough of it.
Ahead of Tuesday's preseason game against the New York Knicks, a photo of Barnes with his pants around his ankles during Toronto's pregame warm-up started making rounds on social media.
The photo captured the moment the Raptors star attempted a 360 windmill dunk, only for his pants to betray him mid-air.
The result was a hilarious, pants-down image that looked like something out of a basketball-themed zombie apocalypse movie — and Raptors fans couldn't get enough of it.
"This is the only player this could ever happen to," one fan wrote.
"This will be someone's Halloween costume, just watch," another joked.
Toronto Star photographer Richard Lautens shared the much-talked-about photo on X, and Complex Sports later reposted it, racking up more than a million views. It even caught the attention of the two-time NBA All-Star himself.
"Noooooo! Why me, man," Barnes commented on the post.
"Can we post the clip to explain what happened?"
Thankfully, the Raptors' social media team came to his rescue, sharing the full video showing exactly how Barnes' pants ended up on the floor.
The photo marked the second time in the last month that Barnes has gone viral for simply being himself. Just three weeks ago, Barnes crashed the background of a live CTV News hit outside of the Raptors training facility, reacting to every word the reporter said.
The pregame wardrobe malfunction didn't seem to bother Barnes' game one bit against the Knicks, putting up 19 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in 22 minutes in Toronto's 148-98 win.
Barnes and the Raptors are in New York to play the Knicks again on Thursday, before travelling to Detroit to play their final preseason game against the Pistons on Friday.
Toronto will open its season against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena on Oct. 21.
