Toronto Blue Jays Bieber

Shane Bieber's wife hosted Toronto Blue Jays-themed baby shower at Rogers Centre

Shane Bieber and his wife, Kara, seem to be loving their time with the Toronto Blue Jays.

The 31-year-old Bieber is currently sitting on the sidelines with an injury, but that isn't stopping his family from enjoying their time at the ballpark. On top of anxiously watching the Jays compete in a razor-thin race for the final AL wildcard spot, the veteran pitcher is also awaiting the birth of his second child.

Bieber and his wife announced back in August that the couple was expecting. To celebrate, Kara recently hosted a Blue Jays-themed baby shower at the Rogers Centre during a game.

She posted a video of the baby shower to Instagram on Sunday.

"Blue Jays baby shower," she captioned the post. "The best day, so thankful for these women."

The Biebers arrived in Toronto after last year's trade deadline and stuck around for this season after Shane opted to pick up his $16 million player option at the end of last season.

There were whispers that the Blue Jays were entertaining trading Bieber at the most recent trade deadline, but he wound up staying put. It seems like the family had no objections to that, and that was shown in the baby shower theme.

It was a well-attended party, with the wives of  Jameson Taillon, Spencer Arrighetti, Tyler Rogers, Louis Varland, Josh Smith, Joe Mantiply, and Max Scherzer all making an appearance.

Dylan Cease's longtime girlfriend, Christen Dye, and Ernie Clement's fiancée, Stefani Brejcha, were also in attendance to celebrate.

Bieber and Kara tied the knot back in 2023 and welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Kav, in 2025.
