Blue Jays' Shane Bieber and his wife are expecting another baby

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Shane Bieber shared some exciting personal news on Wednesday. 

While the Blue Jays' season hasn't gone to plan so far, it appears the Biebers are doing just fine at home. The 31-year-old pitcher's wife, Kara, revealed on Instagram that the couple is expecting. 

"Round two. Bieber house is growing," Kara captioned the announcement post.

This will be the couple's second child, after welcoming a baby boy named Kav just last year in March 2025. That means Bieber will have two kids under the age of two when this latest addition arrives. 

Kara did not reveal her due date, but did caption the post with #2under2.

Bieber and Kara have been married for three years now after tying the knot in a beautiful California vineyard back in January 2023. The couple had been dating for five years before exchanging vows after meeting while they both attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. 

It's been a tough season for Bieber and the Jays. The veteran pitcher was sidelined with an injury that forced him to miss the first three months of the season. He is healthy now and is currently boasting a 5.70 ERA through 23.2 innings pitched.
