With the Toronto Blue Jays being MLB's lone team outside the U.S., not everything the league does is tailored to Canadian fans.
The official 2026 MLB All-Star Game jerseys are the latest example.
The Blue Jays have four representatives heading to next week's festivities in Philadelphia, and each will be wearing an America 250-themed jersey that, according to the official MLB Shop, is "bursting with stars-and-stripes pride."
Because nothing says "Let's go Blue Jays" quite like a $319 Vladimir Guerrero Jr. jersey covered in American flags.

"Your favourite Toronto Blue Jays standout is showcased on a design bursting with stars-and-stripes pride, a nod to the nation's semiquincentennial," the product description reads.
Some fans don't seem too interested in shelling out nearly $100 more than the price tag of a standard Blue Jays jersey for one showcasing the American flag.
"Couldn't pay me to wear a jersey with the USA 250 patch on it," one user wrote on Reddit.
"I'm curious how long it'll be until the Jays' version is heavily discounted," another fan wrote.
Ironically, Guerrero Jr., who was born in Canada, has opted not to play in the 2026 MLB All-Star Game so he can rest and get ready for the second half of the season.
First-time All-Stars Ernie Clement, Dylan Cease, and Louis Varland will represent the Blue Jays in Philadelphia on July 14, alongside manager John Schneider, who will manage the American League roster.
It's not the first time this season that Canadian baseball fans have pushed back against American-themed Blue Jays-branded MLB apparel.
In June, MLB unveiled an America 250-themed Fourth of July cap that the Blue Jays were expected to wear on July 4th against the Seattle Mariners. After some backlash from fans, however, the Blue Jays ultimately wore their Canada Day caps instead.
A similar backlash occurred in 2022 when the Toronto Blue Jays released a U.S. flag-emblazoned cap to commemorate Independence Day.
