Bosnian fans bringing world's largest coffee pot to Toronto for FIFA World Cup

Attention all caffeine addicts and soccer fans: this one is for you.

With Bosnia and Herzegovina set to face Canada in Friday's FIFA World Cup opener at Toronto Stadium, a group of Bosnian supporters are bringing along a giant piece of back home.

The owners of Zlatna Džezva, a traditional Bosnian coffee brand, have travelled from Bosnia and Herzegovina to St. Louis and now Toronto with a giant golden coffee pot in tow.

Zlatna Džezva's golden pot can serve more than 8,000 cups of Bosnian coffee at a single match. (@zlatnadzezva.official/Instagram)

Standing around six feet tall, measuring three feet wide at its base, and weighing more than 300 pounds, the oversized pot was recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest in 2004.

The group behind the travelling attraction says the pot can serve more than 8,000 cups of coffee at a single match and requires roughly 140 pounds of coffee beans.

Honestly, the giant coffee pot sounds like every airline and border agent's worst nightmare, and apparently, even getting the record-setting pot to Toronto was a struggle.

"After a long struggle with documentation and a period of uncertainty, approval has finally arrived, and now opened the door for Canada to experience and taste real Bosnian coffee," the Instagram post reads.

Over the years, the golden pot has apparently become a symbol of support for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Now, during this 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, it'll travel across North America, with Toronto serving as the first stop.

The owners have not publicly disclosed exactly where the coffee pot will be set up on Friday around Toronto Stadium, but given its size and golden look, finding it probably won't be the hard part.
