Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard is already making himself at home in the city.
Following Wednesday's season-opening win over the Chicago Bulls, Leonard headed to the luxury Japanese restaurant Nobu Toronto in his New Balance tracksuit for a homecoming event in his honour, where he reconnected with a former teammate of his.
Serge Ibaka pulled up to the event to support the 35-year-old NBA superstar. The two were pictured enjoying some cognac alongside Leonard's agent and friend, Harrison Gaines.

Leonard and Ibaka were teammates on Toronto's 2019 championship-winning squad before reuniting with the Los Angeles Clippers, where they played together for parts of two seasons between 2020 and 2022.
Ibaka wasn't the only big name at Leonard's homecoming event. American social media star Alix Earle, former Raptors sideline reporter Kayla Grey, Toronto Tempo star Marina Mabrey and TIFF CEO Cameron Bailey were among the guests.
Our favourite photo from the event had to be Kawhi's photo with Nobu Toronto co-owner and celebrity Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Two absolute icons of their respective crafts.

Leonard played 23 minutes and scored 23 points in the Raptors' record-setting season-opening win over the Bulls. It was the largest margin for an opening game Toronto has won by in franchise history.
Fans also saw a glimpse of personality from the two-time NBA champion post-game, who said he was happy to have the opportunity to come back and play basketball in front of the city. He said that was what kept motivating him to make the move back.
