Rogers is celebrating TIFF with major giveaways and events

Once again, TIFF is bringing the glitz, glamour, and biggest names in film to Toronto this September. And this year, Rogers is giving festival-goers plenty of ways to get in on the action.

From giveaways and exclusive screenings to live music and free movies under the stars, Rogers, TIFF's official presenting partner, is bringing a little extra magic to the city throughout the festival.

Here are some things to look forward to.

More than 5,000 TIFF giveaways

Through Rogers Beyond the Seat, Rogers customers will have the opportunity to win more than 5,000 prizes and experiences during TIFF, including tickets to films, front-row access to celebrities at the Roy Thomson Hall red carpet, and free concessions during the Yorkville movie screenings.

And there's an especially star-studded prize up for grabs, too. One lucky Rogers customer will win a VIP, all-inclusive red carpet gala experience during TIFF's closing weekend, including airfare.

Rogers customers will also have a chance to score tickets to the world premiere of Always Lalisa on Friday, Sept. 11.

The documentary follows global K-pop star Lalisa Manobal during her first year as a solo artist, and Rogers is giving away 150 tickets for this.

Then, on Wednesday, Sept. 16, Rogers customers will have the chance to attend Neil Peart: No One's Disciple, a documentary about the legendary Rush drummer, at Manulife Cineplex. Find the details on the Rogers x TIFF website.

The Rogers Red Carpet in Yorkville

Even if you don't score a ticket, there's still plenty happening around the city.

From Thursday, Sept. 10, to Sunday, Sept. 13, Yorkville Ave. between Bellair St. and Hazelton Ave. will transform into the Rogers Red Carpet, a free public experience designed to bring the excitement of TIFF directly to festival-goers.

The space will feature photo-worthy red carpet moments, interactive games, live musical performances, and movie screenings. You don't even need to have a TIFF ticket to enjoy!

The Rogers Red Carpet stage will be packed with live performances throughout the weekend. The lineup includes JUNO Award-winning musician Kid Koala, high-energy Toronto band The 99s, and singer-songwriter Jeremie Albino, along with the Casa Loma Orchestra joined by members of the E Street Band.

Additionally, the stage will welcome Our Lady Peace for a special performance and Q&A ahead of the world premiere of Gail, a music documentary following a superfan during the band’s 30th anniversary Canadian tour.

Then, once the sun goes down, the Rogers Red Carpet will turn into an open-air movie theatre, giving visitors the chance to catch films outdoors.

The programming will include films from TIFF's 2026 Short Cuts Program, along with filmmaker fireside chats, and three TIFF People's Choice Award-winning films: La La Land on Sept. 11 Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon on Sept. 12, and The Princess Bride on Sept. 13.
