Toronto gelato shop known for long lineups opening new location

A Toronto gelato shop known for drawing round-the-block lineups is expanding yet again, with Mizzica Gelateria & Cafe preparing to open its latest location on St. Clair Ave. W.

Mizzica will soon expand to its third location near St. Clair and Dufferin, with signage for the gelateria now installed at the storefront.

The award-winning gelateria is perhaps best known for its original Queen and John location, which regularly attracts long lines that stretch around the intersection's corner. A second location opened on Yonge St. in 2024, and it seems the popular gelateria is now making the leap to a full-fledged chain.

Mizzica has not yet announced an opening date for its third location, but updates on social media show that the store appears to be making quick progress towards its debut.

Mizzica’s third location will operate at 1080 St. Clair Ave. W.
