Everywhere in Toronto celebrities have been eating and partying during TIFF

The 2026 Toronto International Film Festival is well and truly underway, bringing hordes of screen stars to the city streets for 10 straight days of red carpets, screenings and, in many cases, big-time partying.

Though it wouldn't be entirely out of the question for Toronto residents to stumble upon their favourite stars on the average day – the city is a popular filming location when directors want a budget New York City or Chicago (although, on rare occasions, Toronto has been allowed to play Toronto).

Still, every September, TIFF rolls around, and A-listers appear in altogether staggering volumes. During TIFF, it seems, it wouldn't be out of the question to rub elbows with a former Prime Minister over handrolls or slurp back Khao Soi alongside a Stranger Things alum.

With the festival already nearly half-complete, it's safe to say that celebrities have been making the most of their time in Toronto, eating, drinking and partying their way across the city.

Here's everywhere celebrities have been spotted eating and partying in Toronto so far during TIFF 2026.

This King West vinyl bar has hosted many a TIFF after-party in its time, and 2026 is proving no different. So far this year, the likes of Courteney Cox, Patricia Arquette, David Harbour and Liam Neeson have already graced its hallowed halls this year.

You can head to this King West Italian restaurant for a good time at any time of year, but during TIFF, it's especially star-studded thanks to Campari's Cinema Centre setting up camp there.

Caleb Hearon, Zooey Deschanel, James McAvoy, Lily-Rose Depp, Rebel Wilson, Michelle Yeoh and Cole Sprouse have all stopped by so far this season.

Where better to indulge in a little old Hollywood larping than at this glam, lightly mafia-themed King West Italian restaurant?

Everybody Wants to F*ck Me, which stars Kingsman's Taron Egerton, and The Housewife, starring Naomi Watts, Michael Imperioli, Tye Sheridan and Luke Evans have both had their afterparties here so far this year.

If you can expect to stumble upon a celebrity on any old day in Toronto, it would be this Entertainment District Thai restaurant, so why should TIFF be any different?

Perhaps encouraged by his former co-starsStranger Things star Charlie Heaton stopped by for a meal at the restaurant, and so too did Sung Kang.

Bisha Hotel

With Deadline's portrait studio situated in this trendy hotel just off the King West drag, seeing some celebrities breeze through is a sure shot. Sightings so far include Cynthia Erivo, Jennifer Coolidge, Lily-Rose Depp and Jon Hamm.

Hello Nori Toronto

Hello Nori is Trudeau-approved. @reallygoodpeoplecanada.

Now that he's officially made the jump from politics to film production, former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is enjoying the TIFF treatment just as much as his on-screen colleagues.

His choice of nourishment amid the festival fodder? This King West sushi restaurant. This one's got my vote!

Who says celebrities need to be human to get attention? After the creators of the upcoming Airbud TV series stopped by this Entertainment District Thai restaurant, they brought the star of the show by to meet co-owner Jeff Regular.

Something tells me he wouldn't be too fussed if he found a hair in his meal.
