Prince Harry and Doug Ford apparently had a dinner date at Toronto restaurant

Ontario Premier Doug Ford and beleaguered British royal heir, Prince Harry, were allegedly spotted sharing a meal at a Toronto restaurant.

Just when you thought that 2025 political figure-celebrity dinner pairings couldn't get stranger than Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry: this. I guess with only weeks left in the year, the universe is ready to play all of its most bizarre cards.

The OREA Powerhouse Conference, an annual gathering of the Ontario Real Estate Association, featuring keynote speeches and panels from a powerful selection of political and industry who's who, took over the Hilton Toronto on Monday, Dec. 1.

Among the speakers were a fleet of current and past premiers and MPPS, as well as, you guessed it, Prince Harry himself.

Though the conference is geared toward addressing and overcoming challenges in the province's real estate market, it also seems to have served a secondary purpose for two such speakers: fostering friendship.

Following their respective appearances at the conference, Toronto journalist Shinan Govani shared on X that the odd couple had been spotted sharing a meal at Toronto's location of globally-renowned Japanese chain, Nobu.

There's enough public scrutiny mounted against each member of the party at any given time; I'm sure they had plenty to talk about.

Nobu would not provide confirmation as to whether the royal and premier actually did share a meal at the restaurant — much less what they ate — but it sure is fun to imagine the unlikely duo going Dutch on a tuna tataki, isn't it?

So, for now, the case on this bizarre bromance remains open, but, on the bright side, you can eat like a royal for yourself at Nobu, located at 25 Mercer St.
