We love to complain about almost everything in Toronto, from weather extremes to traffic and transit shutdowns. It's hard to make it through a day in Toronto without finding something worth complaining about, but there are also plenty of things that just click about life in Canada's largest city.
blogTO hit the streets to talk to locals ahead of next week's municipal election to get a sense of how people feel about what is working well in Toronto right now.
Some of the things mentioned included diversity, the vibes in the summer, and infrastructure investment, as well as some deeper takes, like one resident who commented on the city's united sense of identity and community involvement in issues like culture and banding together to save landmarks like Sneaky Dee's.
