Cole Sprouse is huge fan of the TTC and even rode a streetcar to TIFF

Even that "Suite Life" wasn't enough to turn Cole Sprouse off from using public transit, and the actor had major praise for Toronto's transit network during a red carpet appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this weekend.

Cole Sprouse is in Toronto to promote the world premiere of Vintage Violence, and the 34-year-old actor got a crash course in Toronto's transit network when he took a King streetcar to his TIFF red carpet.

blogTO caught up with the actor, who noted that the TTC "was faster than every car, it was faster than walking" during his commute.

Though Toronto residents don't always feel the same about the streetcar network's speed, Sprouse doubled down on public transit, saying, "Everyone dogs on it until they need it. It's like New York too."

TTC spokesperson Stuart Green welcomed Sprouse's comments on local transit, telling blogTO, "I mean, he's not wrong…about any of it."

Best known for his child acting career on shows like The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Sprouse has since moved on to more mature roles. In Vintage Violence, Sprouse stars as a livestreamer who discovers a cache of vintage denim and winds up entangled with Japanese organized crime.
