CNE visitors in Toronto share the enormous sums of money they've spent

A trip to the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) in Toronto can be done on the cheap, but let's be real: most of us end up dropping way more money than anticipated on artery-clogging goodies and notoriously difficult midway games.

Whether you budget things down to the cent or show up with stacks of cash, the CNE can really squeeze the dollars out of you, but how much is too much?

With that question in mind, blogTO hit the CNE to ask eventgoers just how much they've dropped on a single day at the fair.

One person stood out from the pack, admitting she spent a shocking $2,000 on a day at the CNE, though she says she had a lot of fun in the process.

Another visitor revealed they spent $1,200 on a day at the CNE, but stressed, "I don't regret it because I had a good time."
