Queen West Fire

Queen West Benefit Show Tonight

It was only a few weeks ago when a devastating fire gutted the Queen West strip between Bathurst and Portland. The fire destroyed many beloved stores such as Suspect Video, Cosmos Records, Preloved, National Sound and Duke's Cycle, but also caused many people to lose their homes. While some businesses like Duke's have managed to already begin relocating, others still need some help. While there have been some ways to give to those who suffered from the fire, tonight there is another way to help.

A fantastic group of people have organized a comedy benefit show to raise money for those affected by the fire. The laughs begins tonight at the Rivoli, just east of Spadina and Queen. The show will incorporate comedy acts, will be emceed by Poppa Proppa and will feature a magic performance by Doctor Mysterion.

Doors open at 7:30pm, tickets will be sold for $15 and the show will begin at 8pm. Go down there to support a good cause and have a night of laughs.
