Toronto hotel just ranked the best in all of Canada for 2025

A Toronto hotel has been crowned the best in Canada, outranking hundreds of other properties from coast to coast to coast.

U.S. News & World Report unveiled its 15th annual rankings of the Best Hotels on Tuesday, with the 2025 edition highlighting more than 31,000 hotels across 400 global destinations, including over 500 properties in Canada.

And it was a Toronto luxury property that claimed the title of the top hotel in the country, one of four hospitality properties in Canada's largest city to crack this year's top ten.

The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto ranked atop 503 other Canadian hotels to take the top spot on 2025's list.

U.S. News & World Report lauded the luxury property for giving guests "access to the charming Yorkville neighbourhood's shops and cafes while also allowing travellers to kick back in the spacious, sleek spa or enjoy a French-inspired meal on the premises."

The Four Seasons Toronto sat atop some impressive competition on this year's top five:

1. Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
2. Fairmont Pacific Rim (Vancouver)
3. Four Seasons Hotel Montreal
4. The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal
5. Four Seasons Resort Whistler

While it was the only Toronto hotel to crack the top five, Hogtown was very well-represented on the list, taking 15 of the top 100 spots in the country.
