Raptors want $5 million to put logos on team jerseys

The Toronto Raptors might have logos on their jerseys for the 2017-2018 season. And it's looking like companies will have to pay a pretty penny to get their names on these coveted pieces of basketball-related real estate.

As TSN reports, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment wants advertisers to spend between $4 and $5 million for these jersey ads.

Apparently, MLSE wants to set these prices so that local advertisers don't make comparisons based on what teams in other, much smaller markets, might charge for their on-jersey ads.

Are you ready for a Ford, Canadian Tire or Tim Hortons logo on your Raptors jersey? Let us know in the comments.
