Here's where to watch Canada Day fireworks in Toronto for 2026

However you spend Canada Day in Toronto, it always ends with the same thing: fireworks. Here's where you can watch a dazzling display on Wednesday, July 1.

As people across the country celebrate Canada Day, there's something special about watching fireworks light up the sky as the festivities come to a close.

With that said, you can catch a spectacular show from plenty of hotspots right here in Toronto.

On July 1, major parks in the city will host their own fireworks displays starting at 10 p.m. You can head over to Milliken Park, Centennial Park, Stan Wadlow Park, Ashbridges Bay Park, or Amesbury Park for a colourful show. Don't forget to bring picnic chairs and a blanket so you can cozy up and enjoy the show.

If you're looking to make a full day of your Canada Day celebrations, there's something for you, too. The Yonge North York Canada Day Celebration will take place at Mel Lastman Square on July 1, beginning at 12 p.m. The festivities will include dance parties, vendor markets, and food stalls before wrapping up with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Although there are day-long festivities taking place to honour the day at certain spots like Nathan Phillips Square and Queen's Park, there will be no fireworks taking place there at the end of the night.

There are plenty of viewing spots for Canada Day fireworks in Toronto, though. You can catch various fireworks displays from the waterfront at places like Sugar Beach, Harbour Square Park, Sherbourne Common Park, Toronto Music Garden, and HTO Park.

Don't forget that Canada's Wonderland is also hosting its annual fireworks display on July 1, beginning at 10 p.m. The show is part of an expanded entertainment lineup that the park recently introduced for its 2026 summer season.

Here's wishing everyone a safe and fun Canada Day!
