Procession of over 600 motorcycles will cruise through Ontario this weekend
A procession of over 600 motorcycles will go on a 150-kilometre journey through Ontario this weekend, all in support of a good cause.
The 18th Annual Ride for SickKids fundraiser will carve up York Region streets on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, to support The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto in what has grown to become one of the largest annual motorcycle charity rides in the Greater Toronto Area.
Since the inaugural event back in 2009, the Ride for SickKids has raised more than $1.8 million for SickKids Foundation with the help of riders, sponsors, volunteers, families, and community supporters.
The Ride will kick off and end at North Maple Regional Park on a 150-kilometre circuit escorted by police. Riders will arrive at the event starting at 8 a.m., with the procession to depart at 11 a.m. and return to the park later that afternoon.
Upon returning to the park, participants will enjoy a celebration with food and entertainment, along with a Grand Prize Motorcycle Raffle where riders can win a customized Harley-Davidson.
