Canada's Wonderland hosting huge fireworks displays this summer

Canada's Wonderland is set to host a record number of fireworks shows in its summer entertainment lineup. Guests will now have more opportunities to watch more than 6,000 fireworks light up the night sky.

The beloved premier amusement park has announced an expanded fireworks lineup for 2026, featuring five showstopping nights in July. This includes four newly added Saturday evening shows along with stunning displays on the Civic Holiday and Labour Day long weekends.

"This year we're hosting a record number of fireworks nights, giving guests more opportunity to experience one of our most memorable traditions," said Christopher Mortensen, park president.

“From our attractions to events and entertainment – there's always something new to experience at Canada's Wonderland and we hope every guest leaves already looking forward to their next visit.”

Guests can witness the colourful firework displays on July 1, as well as the newly added nights on July 4, 11, 18 and 25. Additional shows are scheduled for Aug. 2 and Sept. 6, 2026.

Each fireworks event starts at 10 p.m. and is choreographed to an original soundtrack created exclusively for the park.

The expanded schedule marks the largest fireworks lineup in the park's history.

What else is new?

But that's not all! The celebration extends beyond the fireworks themselves. Visitors can look forward to fire divers performing off Wonder Mountain. And of course, expect to stroll along a lively street full of entertainment thanks to evening festivities.

Alongside the expanded fireworks, the park has introduced a new membership program that allows guests to pay monthly for unlimted visits throughout the year.

It starts at $9 per month and includes access to seasonal events such as Splash Works, Halloween Haunt and Winterfest.
