Huge Toronto comedy festival returns this fall with a star-studded lineup

Just for Laughs Toronto is returning to stages all over the city this September, and it's bringing in a bunch of huge stars to join the party.

The highly anticipated comedy festival is happening from Sept. 18 to 27, with viral sensations, fan-favourite performers, and more.

Just for Laughs Toronto has also announced the first wave of comics coming to town this fall, and you're going to want to get your tickets before they're gone.

"We're proud to bring a great Just For Laughs lineup to Toronto this year," said Sylvain Parent-Bédard, President & CEO of Just For Laughs, in a release.

"It's a great opportunity to share our comedy spirit with audiences in the city, and we can’t wait for Toronto audiences to laugh with us once again."

Comedy greats coming to Toronto in September include the legendary Gabriel Iglesias, the award-winning Sarah Millican, viral sensation Dropout Improv, and standout standups Maria Bamford, Al Madrigal, Big Jay Oakerson, and Ron Funches.

Also on the bill are Montreal Festival alumni Che Durena, Jay Jurden, Gina Yashere, Alistair Ogden and more.

"We're beyond excited to announce an incredible lineup of comedy programming for this year's Just For Laughs Toronto Festival," added Nick Brazao, JFL's Head of Programming and Talent, in a statement.

"Get ready for unforgettable performances, big laughs, and the best in stand-up and more from around the world."

Details on all Just For Laughs Toronto performances from Sept. 18 to 27 can be found online. Pre-sale tickets will be available starting on July 30 at 10 a.m., and public on sale begins July 31 at 10 a.m.
