MUSIC | The Decemberists
The Decemberists' brand of thoughtful, lyrical indie rock has often been compared to fellow west-coast band Death Cab For Cutie, and the band's status as college radio favourites has landed them a great deal of success for a band with such artful ambitions. Their new album "The Hazards Of Love" takes their storytelling tendencies even further with character-driven songs and an underlying narrative.

FESTIVAL | Caribbean Gospel Music Festival
The massive, city-wide celebration of Caribana week continues with this festival-style showcase, featuring some of the Caribbean's most powerful gospel voices, including Judith Gayle Wright, Minister Goddy Goddy, Sean Daniel, Cariene Davis and Latoya Cunningham.
