Toronto's 'scariest haunted attraction' promises 'bigger and better' scares for 2026
Martino Manor, one of Toronto's favourite Halloween attractions, is about to be resurrected for this year's spooky season, and it seems to be upping the ante, boldly claiming that its 2026 production will be "bigger and better" than ever.
The go-to Halloween highlight is touted as Toronto's scariest haunted attraction and has carried the baton for the last eight years, offering bone-chilling walk-through experiences complete with themed storylines, scare actors, and special effects that are not for the faint of heart.
This year, the team at Toronto's Martino Manor decided it was time to add more to its already sinister roster of events. "We have an all-new 'show room' called The Funeral Parlor," a team representative tells blogTO.
"It's a spectacular and immersive theatrical moment where we divide groups up that get bunched together midway through their walkthrough," they go on to explain.
Like every other walkthrough experience, The Funeral Parlor also follows an eerie storyline: Ben D. Humphrey searches for eternal life in a funeral parlor when he mistakenly opens a door that was best left shut.
The team's primary focus is on impact, and it has created an immersive experience "all through lights, SFX, animatronics, actors, and very cool sound design."
But believe me when I say the novelty goes beyond The Funeral Parlor.
"We also have many more actors and actor scares planted throughout the experience to freshen things up," the representative confirms.
And, of course, anyone who's been to Toronto's scariest haunted attraction, which fittingly takes place in a derelict shack in the dark, will know that the 20-minute thrill is followed by a photo op.
This year, Martino Manor will feature two new photo setups, giving you even more chances to get photographic proof of your scare-tolerance threshold.
And if a photo isn't enough of a memento, the team is also introducing its very own branded merch that customers can shop on-site.
I told you they're kicking things up a notch for Halloween 2026.
Martino Manor will officially open to the public from Oct. 2 to Nov. 1, on select nights throughout the week from 7 p.m. onwards. Regular tickets are $34.99 plus applicable taxes; the attraction also offers discounted rates on select days, when patrons can purchase tickets for either $29.99 or $24.99, depending on the day they choose to attend.
