Canada's largest haunted farm opens in Ontario this week

If your ideal fall night involves getting lost in a cornfield, running from chainsaws, and questioning every life decision that brought you there, then Fear Farm in Bright, Ontario, is screaming your name.

Back for the 2026 Halloween season, the haunted attraction is bringing seven different haunted experiences to its sprawling 100-acre property.

The attraction touts itself as "Canada's largest haunted farm" and is conveniently located just off Highway 401, putting it within easy access of major cities across the Greater Toronto Area.

Although Fear Farm offers hayrides and classic carnival eats, the main event is the haunted experiences that come to life this time of year, giving visitors a taste of sinister scares they may not find anywhere else.

For example, The Stalking Dead lures unassuming guests into a completely dark cornfield where they must find their way out, while Hiller House is a haunted home where they'll have to make an escape without making a sound, despite the unknown that awaits them inside.

Then there's the Haunted Hayride, which takes the classic farm attraction into complete darkness through the forest, where guests will encounter what the farm calls "unspeakable horrors." Wondering what those could be? The uncertainty is the scariest part...

Other experiences, like the clown-themed Carnevil and sci-fi-focused The Visitors, help put Fear Farm on the map as one of Ontario's most coveted Halloween experiences.

Of course, Fear Farm isn't only about running for your life through the forest. Visitors can also hang around the property for food, drinks, entertainment, or, for a splurge, the VIP campfire site.

This seasonal offering includes a dedicated fire, a private area for your group, and fast-pass access to the haunted attractions. You can also order food directly to your site, including farm food, hot dogs, and s'mores kits. How's that for a cozy culmination to what may have been some of the scariest moments of your life?

An attraction like this is incomplete without photo opportunities, so you'll find plenty of nooks to take pictures for the feed, along with roaming and stage entertainment throughout the evening.

Guests should note that the attraction has a strict chaperone policy. Like Canada's Wonderland, Fear Farm also mandates that any guest 15 years of age or younger must be accompanied by a guardian who's at least 21. Each individual must purchase their own ticket, and a single chaperone may accompany up to 10 underage participants.  

Fear Farm's 2026 season runs from Sept. 26 to Oct. 31 on select days throughout the week. Admission is $64.99 plus applicable taxes, and tickets must be purchased online ahead of time — there won't be ticket sales on site.
