simpleposie is an artistic fishing expedition.

Why did you start your blog? Blogiversary?
I began simpleposie as an experiment in thinking and writing about art on December 5th 2003.

How long have you lived in Toronto?
Most of my life off and on.

What are some of the changes in Toronto that you have seen in your lifetime?
Well, they used to give away a lot of free stuff at the CNE. The Leafs used to play at the Gardens. There used to be way more light industry in the downtown core. Toronto has become, in my lifetime a fabulous place to eat out for dinner. The Queen West Gallery explosion. Let's see... Condo, Condo, Condo!

What era, day or event in Toronto's history would you like to re-live?
Hurricane Hazel.

Who's your favourite Torontonian?
Adam Vaughan.

Can we believe everything you post on your blog?
The usual daily post on simpleposie is a question about art. So you're on your own when it comes to belief or not.

Do you have a favourite post from your blog?
simpleposie question for the day #689 was fun.

Have you had your 15 minutes yet?
I must be having it right now.

Ever met a stranger who already knew you through your blog?
Yes and also reunited with old friends and acquaintances. Excellent!

Lose any friends or muck something up because of a post?
I don't think so. I have love in my heart.
