The Incidentals

The Incidentals....who?

When you listen to a lot of Brian Wilson, you're direction of music points toward harmonies -- lots 'n lots of vocal harmonies.

The Incidentals is a local band started by Jesse Laderoute, who's straight outta the rough woods and tight knit French communities of Sudbury. Laderoute started off playing soft songs on his handy acoustic guitar for small crowds 'n friends. As time passed, his sounds were still as sweet as when they had started but he became louder and powerful on the mic.

Laderoute has assembled a band that doesn't always seem to get the chance to be in the same room, let-alone the same city, at the same time. While their drummer, Joshua Turnbull , resides in Barrie, Laderoute has a bassist, Bron Halpan, to assist on vocals and is also a Music Production whiz. After combining their efforts, recording some tracks and producing them, the band have somewhat defined themselves as an experimental pop-ish band with the sound of Wilco.

As previously mentioned, not having a full band meant having to use a substitute to fill in for the missing void. Laderoute would have to use a drum-machine to be the band's drummer. Thankfully, the drum-machine can now be put in a box and sealed away as the band can finally assemble into a fully-functional project. Also, The Incidentals have added a keyboardist to the fold: the dynamic stylings of Robin Hatch.
