Monopoli

Usually when I get a myspace friend request from band, I immediately "deny", discredit the group and curse the day my friends convinced me to sign up for this evil account. Fortunately I gave Monopoli the benefit of the doubt, and swung by their myspace page for a peak.

I was immediately grabbed by the four letters that any self-respecting music-loving Torontonian has on their mind right now: NXNE

Seeing as this Washington based band was willing to make the trek to our beloved festival, I opted to check out a song and was surprisingly impressed! I recommend giving "Hit and Run" a listen.
