Waiting For Big Black Lincoln
This so-called "supergroup" intrigues me. Led by rapper/producer Saukrates (who seems to be everywhere these days) and repping a who's who of the Toronto "urban" scene (Ro-Dolla, Ajile of BrassMunk, T.R.A.C.K.S. of IRS, and Shakari Nyte) the T-dot production crew-slash-studio group finally drop a full length project later this month.
What I like about Big Black Lincoln is that the crew isn't afraid to rep more than what is considered hip hop these days... and incorporate elements of house, soul and Jimi Hendrix flavoured rock. Expect the group to become alt-weekly media darlings in the coming weeks.
