The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) saw a whole lotta glamour on the red carpet Thursday night with none other than Charli xcx stepping out in a little black sheer dress for the premiere of her big-screen debut, Erupcja.
The 33-year-old 360 singer graced the Festival Street crowds ahead of the premiere of her debut acting project, an indie film described by the BBC as "a cagey little film that keeps you guessing."
Charlie xcx's fashion choices added buzz around the film; it seems like she understood the assignment, opting for a minimalistic look with a sheer take on the classic pretty LBD.

The accomplished musician-turned-movie star was joined by director and co-writer Peter Ohs, and co-stars and co-writers Jeremy O. Harris, Lena Gora, and Will Madden on the red carpet.

Charli xcx was joined by the film's cast and crew as she walked the red carpet for her debut acting gig, Erupcja.
Actor and screenwriter Lena Gora was also spotted wearing a black gown, but with an interesting twist: it split in the back, revealing her underwear bearing the film's name, "erupcja" in neat script.

Lena Gora graced the red carpet in a black gown with a split back, bearing the film's name on her underwear.
How's that for a cheeky way to promote the movie?

Since the Erupcja red carpet was an indoor affair, fans were lined up outside the TIFF Lightbox to catch a glimpse of Charlie xcx and the rest of the film's cast and crew.
From the sounds of it, Erupcja opened to a great response from fans and industry personalities. It currently does not have a theatrical release date, but the masses are undoubtedly looking forward to seeing it at the cinemas outside the festival circuit when it finally debuts.
The city's beloved end-of-summer film tradition turns 50 this year and runs from September 4 to 14 throughout various venues around the city.
