One of Canada's most prestigious children's fashion platforms is preparing for an upcoming fashion show, and your kid could be a part of it.
Toronto Kids Fashion Week (TKFW) is hosting model auditions on Sunday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Toronto for children ages three to 18, and selected participants will join a runway experience that transcends a traditional fashion show.
TKFW has been hosted across multiple cities in North America, expanding its reach and reputation as a national and international platform with social impact. It showcases kids' fashion designers and iconic kidswear brands, while offering a global platform for talented child models.
This is no traditional modelling gig. TKFW is all about personal development first, which means working with kids to build self-esteem and communication skills throughout the entire runway experience. Models will go from nervous to confident and can take those skills and lessons into everyday life.
There are no height or size requirements — the only criteria are a bright smile, a fresh, photogenic presence, and the ability to bring a designer's collection to life. Kids of all backgrounds and abilities are welcome to apply, and no previous modelling experience is necessary. All that's needed is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow!
Selected models will get to walk for international and local designers in Toronto's TKFW. They'll also get exposure to fashion media and top modelling agencies who work closely with advertising, filming, and entertainment industries around the world.
Can you see your little one tearing it up on the runway? That vision could become a reality. This is a limited-capacity program, and audition spots typically fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
