Toronto Fashion Week

15 photos from opening night at Toronto Fashion Week

Toronto Fashion Week kicked off on Monday (October 21) with no shortage of towering models, extravagantly dressed attendees, perma-pouts on all of the above, and a baffling number of people wearing sunglasses indoors. Though the late start and the unwelcome rain tainted everybody's mood (street style photographers, I'm looking at you), it still seemed like the three runway shows and Holt Renfrew's balloon-dazzled opening party garnered a larger turnout than ever before.

Beaufille, Pink Tartan, and David Dixon charmed the crowd with delicate details, nip-slip inducing cuts, and a generous helping of white-on-white ensembles. If the rest of the week is anything like the first night, brace yourselves and leave your shades at home.
