Toronto is invited to enjoy historic Florentine culture at Peroni's newest activation

Peroni Nastro Azzurro has been known to bring fun Italian lifestyle experiences to Toronto (see the Peroni Aperitivo Chair), and its latest activation is taking inspiration from one of Florence's most charming traditions.

This summer, Toronto can step into a piece of historic Italian culture with Peroni Portals — a one-day-only pop-up inspired by the iconic Buchette del Vino, or "wine windows," that have lined the streets of Florence for centuries.

Buchette del Vino are small openings built into the walls of Florentine homes and palaces, originally used to serve wine directly to locals and travellers. The tiny windows offer a uniquely Italian way to enjoy a drink al fresco, and is one of Florence’s most beloved gems.

Now, Peroni Nastro Azzurro is bringing that same spirit of aperitivo culture to Toronto with a modern twist.

On July 25 visitors can stop by the Peroni Portal at 1110 Dundas St. West., sample Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0, and enjoy their own la dolce vita moment inspired by Italy’s iconic wine windows.
