Starbucks is about to roll out new breakfast menu items in Canada

When you think of breakfast from Starbucks, many immediately think of its line of breakfast sandwiches, egg bites or bagels. But now, Starbucks is shaking things up with the addition of two breakfast classics: pancakes and waffles.

Starting January 3, customers will be able to order the new Maple Mini Pancakes and Belgian Liège Waffles at Starbucks locations across Canada.

The Maple Mini Pancakes are small bite-sized treats infused with maple sugar and available in serving sizes of four or eight. Starbucks says these are "perfect to enjoy while out and about and to share with others."

The Belgian Liège Waffle, on the other hand, is infused with pearl sugar and a smooth vanilla flavour.

The new menu items are hitting Starbucks across Canada starting January 3, 2025.

In addition to these new breakfast treats, customers can anticipate some new and returning beverage offerings, too.

For the new items, Starbucks is adding the Cortado, which consists of three ristretto shots of Starbucks Blonde Espresso cut with steamed whole milk (or a milk of your choice).

This drink is only available hot and in a short (8 oz.) size. You're also able to order it as a Brown Sugar Oat Cortado for those non-dairy lovers who are looking for something a little sweet.

Additionally, Starbucks is bringing back its line of pistachio beverages, including the pistachio latte and pistachio cream cold brew, which are available for a limited time.
