Former Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie is seeking to reclaim her old position and is pitching a promise of a subway to Toronto as a key selling point in her mayoral campaign.
Crombie hopes to extend the Line 2 Bloor-Danforth subway from its current terminus at Kipling west into Mississauga, which would allow riders to commute in and out of the city to a new end-of-the-line stop at Square One.
It's a bold vision for suburban commuters who currently require multiple transfers to get in and out of Toronto, but what do locals think of this campaign promise from their 905 neighbours?
blogTO checked in with locals on Crombie's vision for a Mississauga-to-Toronto subway, and here's what people thought about the idea.

Would a subway extension to Mississauga improve your commute, or would the added passenger volumes make your subway trips even less tolerable? Let us know in the comments.
